BBC's 'Children in Need' official 2009 charity single is "Animated All Star Band," which was masterminded by Peter Kay.
Kay enlisted the help of childhood favourites such as The Thunderbirds, The Wombles, Bagpuss, Fireman Sam, Thomas The Tank Engine and Postman Pat alongside contemporary children's favourites, who all appear in the brilliant video. The project took 8 months to do and all the characters are provided by the original voice actors.
The single is available to buy now from iTunes and the CD and DVD will be on sale from Monday 23rd November.
