Daniel Craig To Replace Downey Jr. In 'Cowboys & Aliens'

Daniel Craig is in advanced talks to to replace Robert Downey Jr. as the lead in Jon Favreau's 'Cowboys & Aliens'.

Downey Jr. dropped out of the Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof scripted comic book adaption, due to conflicting schedules with the 'Sherlock Holmes' sequel.

Craig is also set to reprise his role as James Bond later this year for the 23rd film in the series. It is not yet know if Bond 23 will be delayed due to him starring in ''Cowboys & Aliens'.
