Danny McBride will star in the Jody Hill directed 'L.A.P.I.' Director Hill regularly works with McBride who starred in Hill projects 'The Foot Fist Way', the HBO series 'East Bound and Down' and made a brilliant cameo in 'Observe And Report'.The film is based on a pitch from writers Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan, story details are being kept under wraps apart from McBride taking on the role of a beaten-down, hard boiled P.I.
Diliberti and Sullivan, who had two scripts on the 2009 Black List, are also writing a remake of "Brewster's Millions," which is set up at Warner Bros.
