Pacino & De Niro Keen To Work Together Again

Righteous Kill dissapointingly doesn't look the quality film vehcile it should be to bring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino back together on the cinema screen, but they have confirmed they would like to work together again in the future. Hopefully the next encounter will be a film that is deserving of their talents.

The stars spoke out at the London premiere of Righteous Kill, having last worked together in 1995 on Michael Mann's Heat.

De Niro told ITN: "I wish we'd done it sooner and I hope it won't take this long for us to do another project. I'd hope we'd do another one or two more at least. We've always had a great respect for each other."

Pacino said it was "comfortable" working with De Niro, though he said that their combined heavyweight screen status meant hopes for the film were high. "There's so much expectation it makes you think twice," he explained.

"I hope we do another picture together. We're thinking about that down the line and I see that people want to see it and that's good to know."

Flicks News would like to see De Niro and Pacino involved with the rumoured The Departed sequel!
