Sin City 2: Frank Miller's Estate Shopping 'Sin City' Rights Round Hollywood Studios

A few week backs it was reported that The Weinstein Company had lost the rights to the follow up to Frank Miller's Sin City, which was later debunked with a response by The Weinstein Company who said the rights to produce sequels to Sin City remain intact as they always have been. Any suggestion to the contrary is complete hogwash.

THR is now reporting that Sin City 2's rights are being shopped around Hollywood, in what appears to be a sign that TWC alternate label Dimension Films has actually lost rights to the property and representatives for Frank Miller's estate are actively seeking a new studio to set up a potential follow-up.

UPDATE: Robert Rodriguez confirmed he will be directing Sin City 2!
