Guillermo Del Toro's 'Deadman' Has A Director

Variety confirms that Guillermo del Toro has found Nikolaj Arcel to take over directing duties for his comic book adaption of DC comicbook hero Deadman. Del Toro, Don Murphy and Susan Mountford are on board to produce the movie, which centres on a murdered circus acrobat with the power to posses the living in order to find his killer.

Writer Arnold Drake and artist Carmine Infantino created the character in 1967 for DC Comics. Gary Dauberman wrote the script for the film, which del Toro initially planned on directing himself.

Danish filmmaker Arcel previously helmed 'King's Game' and 'Island Of Lost Souls'.
