MTV the Coen Brothers shot down rumors about a spinoff of The Big Lebowski which John Turturro hinted at but they did reveal that the only follow up they would like to do is a sequel To 'Barton Fink' called 'Old Fink' saying:
"We don't see it yet," Ethan explained, while Joel added: "That movie(The Big Lebowski) has more of an enduring fascination for other people than it does for us."
The duo said that they had approached Turturro about a sequel to Barton Fink called Old Fink.
"That's one that would actually be fun to do," Joel said. "We told Turturro this is one sequel we'd actually like to make, but not until he was actually old enough to play the part."
