New Doctor Who companion Amy Pond (played by Karen Gillan) is working as a kissogram when she first meets the Doctor. Many had presumed Gillan's character to be a policewoman after pictures from an outdoor shoot showed her dressed in an officer's uniform, it is now thought that she only wears the outfit as part of her kissing telegram job.A sourced told The Sun newspaper:
