James Franco has been cast as the lead in Danny Boyle's '127 Hours', Franco will play mountaineer Aron Ralston.In 2003 during a climb in Utah, Ralston got his right forearm pinned for nearly five days under a boulder and was forced to use a a dull knife to amputate the limb. He then scaled a 65-foot sheer wall and hiked out before running into a family who gave him food and water.
Filming begins early March in Utah.
