Joseph Gordon-Levitt To Replace James McAvoy In 'I'm With Cancer'

James McAvoy has dropped out of the starring role in the comedy 'I'm With Cancer' after shooting had just commenced. Joseph Gordon-Levitt has stepped in to replace McAvoy and will now star alongside Seth Rogen who is also producing the film in the Will Reiser scripted film about a 25 year old battling cancer. The film is based on the true experiences of comedy writer Reiser and his own battle with cancer while he was in his 20's.

Rogen said in a statement: "It’s incredibly unfortunate that circumstances outside of everyone’s control have taken James away from the project, but, with James’s blessing, we were able to have Joseph step in to take on the [lead] role of Adam. We all look forward to working with James in the future."

The movie which also stars Anna Kendrick and Bryce Dallas Howard will recommence shooting next week.
