Is This The New Bond Theme Tune For Skyfall?

According to tabloid reports, Noel Gallagher is to meet with Bond film producer Michael G. Wilson soon, regarding the possibility of Gallagher being responsible for the upcoming Skyfall's theme tune. The producers are said to be interested in an unreleased track called 'Freaky Teeth' being reworked as the theme tune for the 23rd 007 film. The track in question, Gallagher has often described as a potential great Bond theme as far back as 2008. Noel who is friends with Daniel Craig has been also been vocal in the past about wanting to write and record a theme tune for the British secret agent franchise.

In 2008 he said: "I listened back to it (Freaky Teeth) thinking, 'That’d make a fucking great Bond theme. It’s a bit of a piss-take that the greatest British agent of all time has to be soundtracked by a bunch of Americans."

Skyfall, Bond's 23rd outing, is due to hit cinema screens on October 26, 2012.

Update: Noel Gallagher has denied reports claiming that he will be writing the theme for the next James Bond movie 'Skyfall,' saying:
"I don't know whether you've seen a story that's doing the rounds about me being offered the job of penning the tune for the new James Bond film?" Gallagher wrote.

"Apparently I'm being courted by "'007 bosses'!!!!! A meeting will be 'taking place in the next few days'!!!! With some guy called "Michael G. Wilson" (whoever he is)!!!

"A 'source' says, 'Nothing has been signed or made official'!!!! Of course it f**kin' hasn't!!!!!! Who IS this f**kin' '"source"'? Has he been on the 'sauce'? Bizarre indeed."
