La Jetée is a 28-minute black and white science fiction classic written and directed by Chris Marker in 1962. Constructed almost entirely from still photos, it tells the story of a post-nuclear war experiment in time travel. The story was later adapted by Terry Gilliam in to Twelve Monkeys in 1995.
The film is a mini masterpiece and is one of the most highly influential and important films in celluloid history, that truly deserves your viewing!
