The theatrical trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story has just been released and it's really good. During an adventure into a dark criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future copilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion.
It fair to say this release has been portrayed in some relams as a troubled production with director changes, neagtaive press ans reshoots has been given some fans a bad feeling about this. But judging from this trailer I think it is fair to assume worries should be alieved and we get to see a young Chewie, Lando and Han in a galaxy heist space western film that made them become legends. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, alongside Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany.
The Ron Howard movie will be shown out of competition at Cannes, reportedly on 15 May. And will be released May 24 in Ireland and UK and most other regions May 25.
