This is the first real scoop Flicks News has ever got and it comes from a reliable source but I am still in 2 minds about posting it in case it comes back to bite me on the arse and tarnish the reputation of the blog as them guys who make up film stories to get readers, so for now just to be safe file this under: "very crazy Friday madness will probably turn out not to be true news."Adrien Brody's name has been hovering around comic book films awhile now and many suspected him to be the Joker in The Dark Knight before that went into production and then there where reports that he was a certainty to be offered the role of Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk before Ed Norton came on board.
Ok so here is this crazy scoop a Marvel insider revealed that someone high up in the chain in Marvel's Film Studios wants Adrien Brody to be considered for The Red Skull, Captain America's long standing enemy once the director is in place for the Captain America film. The insider also went on to say that like with what Heath Ledger did with Joker this high up in the chain Marvel guy believes Oscar winning Brody would make the character his own.
